A little planning before you order saves delays later, so measure carefully and order every part the job needs.
Check sizes and suitability
Measure the room, doorways and stairs, and check that your shower suits your water system. Tell us what you plan to buy at the free survey and we will point out anything that may not suit the room, such as a bath that is too long.
Order everything the job needs
Make sure the order includes wastes, traps, taps and any fixings the products need, plus enough tiles with around 10% extra. If you would like us to tile with your own tiles, see our bathroom tiling service.

We check your delivery before any work starts, so your old bathroom is not taken out until everything is ready.

If something is damaged or missing
We let you know straight away, so you can contact the seller for a replacement before your old bathroom is taken out. Products are covered by the seller's or manufacturer's warranty, while our 2-year guarantee covers our workmanship.

A fit-only job follows the same clear order as any bathroom we fit, and most bathrooms take 5 to 10 working days.

Will you fit a bathroom I bought online?
Yes. We fit bathrooms bought from any retailer, online or in a showroom. We check the products for damage and missing parts before work starts, then strip out the old bathroom and fit the new one, including the plumbing, tiling, flooring and any electrics. Tell us what you have bought at the free survey, and we give you a fixed-price quote for the fitting.
Who is responsible if a product is faulty?
Products you buy yourself are covered by the seller's or the manufacturer's warranty, so a faulty product is a matter for the seller. Our 2-year workmanship guarantee covers the fitting we do. This is why we check your delivery before work starts: damage is much easier to sort out with the seller before anything has been fitted, and the job is not held up halfway.
Does fit-only include tiling and flooring?
Yes. Our fit-only service covers the strip-out and waste removal, the plumbing and fitting of your suite, shower and taps, tiling and flooring, and electrics by a registered electrician we work with. You supply the products and the tiles, and we do the rest, from the first day to handover. Everything included is listed on your fixed-price written quote before work starts.
Do you take away the old bathroom?
Yes. Stripping out the old bathroom and taking the waste away is part of our fit-only service. We remove the old suite, tiles and rubble and clear the room ready for your new bathroom. You do not need to hire a skip or arrange a tip run yourself, and the room is left clean before the new bathroom goes in.
Is fit-only cheaper than supply and fit?
It can be, if you find a good deal on your bathroom, because you only pay us for the fitting. In return, you take on choosing, ordering and checking every product yourself, and any product problem is handled with the seller. Supply and fit means one company handles everything. Can you fit an electric shower I have bought?
Yes. An electric shower needs its own electrical circuit, which is fitted and certified by a registered electrician we work with, as part of your fit-only job. Before you buy, check that the shower's power rating suits your home, because a higher rating needs a suitable circuit. We check your existing electrics and water supply at the free survey, before you order.
What should I check when my bathroom is delivered?
Count the boxes against your order and look for visible damage to the packaging, then keep everything boxed and dry until we arrive. Before work starts, we open and check each product for damage and missing parts. If something is wrong, you can contact the seller for a replacement before your old bathroom is taken out, so you are never left without one.
How long does a fit-only installation take?
Most bathrooms we fit take 5 to 10 working days from strip-out to handover, and a fit-only job is no different. The time depends on the size of the room, whether the layout changes and how much tiling there is. We give you a timescale with your written quote, so you know how long the bathroom will be out of use.
